🌸 Why I Chose Shouko Nishimiya

Some characters articulate not through expressions, but through sight.
Shouko Nishimiya, the soothing psyche from A Silent Voice, embodies that wordless sinew. Her features are gentle, her stance cunning — and her feelings lie concealed in her eyes.

She was the perfect poet for my realistic anime drawing — not loud, not flashy, but delicate, predicated, and real.

🖌️ The Journey of My Drawing

Step 1

In the very first step I start to drawing the basic outline of the hair and face I simply draw her face jawline and style but gentle hair using HB pencil.

Step 2

In this step I start to draw the cute tie and some clothes of it and draw accordingly to her cuteness and character that which she is famous for using HB pencil.

Step 3
I drew her in her academy livery, standing with her hands slightly clasped in front. Her posture — a bit shy, reticent, yet peaceful. The crowds of the livery were blocked in with introductory shapes, ready for shadowing.

🖤 Shadowing — Bringing Her to Life

I applied HB for the bridgehead, 2B for her features, and 4B to annex discrepancy to her hair and vesture.I vocally shadowed under her chin and neck to add depth. Her hair held quiet slants to offer it quantum.I shadowed the pleats in her brim and the furrows on her blazer with heedfulness. Her eyes entered the final touch — bitsy white highlights left untouched, as if her silent story glistered from within.

💬 Final studies

Some craft speaks through silence. ”

Shouko’s presence reminded me that anime does n’t always have to be inflated to be important. occasionally, the most realistic delineations are the quietest and the most affecting.
