Chelsea Stun PSG 3‑0 in Club World Cup Final
Hello everyone. I watched Chelsea vs PSG yesterday and I want to tell you about this match.
I don't have favorite team between these two but I was very excited to watch. Both teams are very famous in Europe. Chelsea has many good players, and PSG is French giant team with superstars. When they play together, always something special happens.
What happened in the match
Chelsea was playing at home but PSG also came to fight. This was a friendly match. Stamford Bridge was full and atmosphere was crazy. I watched this match with my friends at local café in our neighborhood.

The café was packed with football fans. Everyone was excited and cheering. We got good seats in front of big screen. The atmosphere in café was amazing, just like watching in stadium.

- Second goal scored in 34th minute. Perfect finish to keep pressure
- Third goal happened in 61st minute. Chelsea was struggling to defend
- Many yellow cards given - players were fighting hard
- Many substitutions happened - both coaches tried different tactics
Look at these numbers. Chelsea had 34% ball possession, PSG had 66%. Also Expected Goals was 2.08 vs 0.53. Total shots were 10 vs 8. Numbers show Chelsea controlled ball more and created more chances.
Chelsea played 4-2-3-1 formation. You can see their attack players trying hard. PSG used 4-1-2-3 with their key players in attack. Both coaches had different tactical ideas.
I watched until final whistle because these teams never give up easily. My friends and I were discussing every moment of the match.
My thoughts about match
Some people maybe say Chelsea won because they had better chances. But I think both teams played good football. PSG tried to keep ball and Chelsea was trying to counter attack. That needs good tactics from both sides.
Palmer and Sánchez were very good for Chelsea yesterday. Even when PSG tried to fight back, Chelsea still dominated. But PSG players - they showed why they are strong competitors. They never stopped trying.
When I see how Chelsea pressed in first half, how they created chances even with PSG defending, how they never stopped trying... I think both teams showed good spirit. Now I understand why these matches are always exciting to watch.
Watching with my friends at café made it more special. We were cheering together, discussing tactics, and enjoying beautiful football. The café owner even gave us free tea because we were so excited!
What this means for football
Chelsea came into this match with good preparation. They controlled ball well and created many chances. They know how to play against big teams. But PSG also showed they are very strong despite the loss.
Yes PSG lost 3-0 but they faced a strong Chelsea side. Chelsea used their advantage well. Both teams still have chances in future competitions.
Maybe this defeat will make PSG angry for next match. Sometimes when you lose like this, you come back stronger. When you play against a dominant team and still create some chances, it shows good character.
I have to respect both teams after watching this match. Final score was 3-0 but PSG made it competitive sometimes. After seeing how they played, I understand why both teams are in top competitions. The next meeting will be must-watch for everyone.
