**My Neighborhood Watch #107 - Reporting Events Around us (12/07/2025)**

Good morning, and a happy new week to everyone. I hope your day is going as smoothly as mine. I wanted to share with you an update on an event that took place at my workplace on Saturday.

Upon arriving at my workplace that Saturday morning at 6:45 am, I observed that all the workers were already present and ready to commence their assigned tasks. At my duty station, I began by receiving a handover report from the previous day's work, which was pending on my table. This ensured a seamless transition, allowing me to stay updated and focused before starting my own duties.

Once the handover was complete, I changed into my work uniform and took up my position at the gate. My duties consisted of opening and closing the gate, as well as inspecting all incoming and outgoing vehicles to verify their contents and confirm their purpose for entering or exiting the premises.

Before I realized it, it was already 12 noon, marking the start of our lunch break. At this point, I left the entrance gate open, allowing free movement in and out of the premises until 1 pm, when I would resume my duties and secure the gate once again.

After the lunch break, I was relieved of my gate duty by a colleague, who took over the responsibility. Meanwhile, I utilized the opportunity to conduct some inspections at the technical site.

After completing my technical checks, I returned to my post to have my lunch. Unfortunately, the area was too crowded to take a photo. Following my meal, I took a short break to rest. Later, I proceeded to the iron site to monitor the activities and update the records.

Having confirmed everything I needed to at the iron site, I returned to my post to resume my duties. I remained there until 4 pm, when the workers finished their shift. As Saturdays have an earlier closing time of 4 pm, compared to the 6 pm closure on weekdays, I appreciated the extra time to conduct a thorough check and record the remaining inventory of irons, rods, and other materials.

The inventory check typically takes us around 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete, as it involves thoroughly inspecting the entire site. This process requires walking around the premises and climbing the 5-story building using a temporary wooden staircase. I must admit, climbing that staircase always makes me a bit uneasy, as I'm not accustomed to this kind of environment.

I was able to complete the inventory check on time and even earlier than expected, thanks to the favorable weather conditions, as it was still bright and not yet dark.

After completing the final inventory check on the top floor, I descended to the Project Manager's (PM) office to submit the records. Following the handover, I changed out of my work attire and departed the site, heading home. Upon arrival, I prepared a simple dinner consisting of hot tea, bread, and boiled eggs. After dinner, I retired to bed, bringing an end to the day.
