Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 18/7/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

July 2025- Hello supporters of Steem, today I'm feeling a lot better again. But I have my doubts this will go without getting my new medication which I should be able to get later. Still I'm of course glad and thankful to pass this day feeling better, there is a lot of joy in the air today in general as many of the kids are very happy to be finishing school for their summer term. Some parents are in dread and so are hitting the shops trying to find toys to keep their children busy over the summer holidays. However with this it's surfaced gender issues with toys. This reminded me of a few years back when Kinder Surprise 🥚 was slammed for being 'Sexist' having pink and blue packaging for their toys. It was a big deal because they had an advert for their limited edition Kinder Surprise eggs 🥚 in pink and blue wrappers. On the commercial "which I think was removed" it showed a blue-packaged Kinder egg 🥚 which can contain a Hot Wheels car, while for the pink egg 🥚 costumers can expect to find a ‘Hello Kitty’ toy. Kinder Surprise 🥚 defended themselves by claiming that based of their own consumer feedback it showed that parents found it helpful to have such colours as a guideline to simply understand the type of toys possibly found inside the surprise eggs 🥚. They said they had no intention of labelling certain toys as "only for boys" or for "girls only". The gender stereotypes campaign fought back by saying that it’s nothing to do with informing shoppers about the content contained inside the eggs 🥚 because in their example the ‘Hot Wheels’ brand colours are not blue but instead red and yellow. It's a good point but I believe Kinder already used black and red and I generally think using such a similar colour could cause more confusion and disappointment. The campaigners finished their statement by saying that such marketing for gender based toys is limiting children’s chances to both learn and have fun. The campaigners want to continue recommending to offer children a choice without the labels. For me personally I think it's a shame that we have culturally picked that blue means boy and pink means girl. I say this because I honestly think both colours are very beautiful, but it is the human race that as braded these colours, not the colours themselves...
