The diary game || Friday full of blessings

Today is Friday, which is always a very special day, full of blessings and serenity for me. Since 12:00 noon WIB, I have been preparing myself to perform Friday prayers, which is obligatory for Muslim men to perform Friday prayers in congregation. With a calm heart and enthusiastic steps, I headed to the mosque to perform congregational prayers. The atmosphere of the mosque felt very solemn and crowded with congregants who came from various corners of the surrounding villages. However, the Friday sermon delivered by the preacher was very soothing, reminding the importance of patience, and strengthening faith amidst life's increasingly complex challenges.

After performing Friday prayers in congregation, I felt hungry, having not had time to eat since morning. I walked to a nearby food stall, a common stop for locals after prayers. This small stall was quite simple, but always busy and had a peaceful atmosphere. I ordered a pack of fried noodles, which were sold for Rp. 3,000. Although it looked cheap, the taste of the fried noodles made by the uncle at the stall was delicious, especially when eaten on an empty stomach. And near the stall, I sat and enjoyed the noodles and observed the peaceful surroundings.

While eating noodles, I noticed a tame monkey tied to a pole near the hut. This monkey appeared calm and didn't bother anyone, aka tame. This monkey was my uncle's pet. Feeling sorry for him, I gave him some crackers I bought at the stall, and he devoured them with gusto, making me smile to myself as I watched his antics.

After finishing my meal and relaxing for a while, I returned home. It was already late afternoon, so I went home to rest. Today's journey was simple, yet meaningful. From praying at the mosque, to lunch at my uncle's food stall, to small moments with Allah SWT's creatures, everything filled me with a deep sense of gratitude for the life that Allah continues to give me. This Friday was truly peaceful and blessed.
