DIY: bamboo barrier now installed!

Hello my dear Steemians,
It was very efficient day today, as you might remember we were going to make a barrier for bamboo, to create a grove just in front of the hedge in order to prevent the roots of bamboo to grow again in the direction of our lawn. So for protection we dug a long about 20 meter grove of 70 cm depth, we were compeltely exhausted and happy that it was done. Here we have rolled up the barrier material for the night.

Here how it looks like from close up and now we had to put soil from both side of barrier so that it is stable we still had to leave about 10 cm above the soil level, so that bamboo plant is not able to cross over the upper edge it barrier.

Here how it is looking from our window.

@stef1, this is fantastic! I love seeing the real, hands-on work you're putting in to manage your bamboo. That's a serious trench you've dug – I can only imagine how tired you were! The photos really bring the project to life, and it's great to see the progress from start to finish. Bamboo can be so invasive, so this is a smart move. Thanks for sharing your gardening adventure with us, and also for partnering with Planet Wild.
